We braved the damp and the cool fall weather for a fun hayride and marshmallow roast at Shawnee Mission Park on Friday evening. We were able to see the beautiful hills, the marvelous fall colors on the trees, and a beautiful sunset too. The park wildlife did not disappoint – we saw a flock of wild turkeys, numerous does, two large bucks, and of course squirrels and hawks all around. The s’mores and other goodies around the campfire were a great finish to our ride through the park.
Thanks to all who braved the rain and chill, and a big thanks to our hayride driver, Jim, for a great event!

We had a really fun time! We keep reminiscing about it 🙂
@Carmelle – We had a great time too! The kids have already asked how soon before we can make s’mores again! 🙂
So great to see you there!
