We attended another fun performance by Paul Mesner Puppets at the Glenwood Theatre on Friday. The hand puppets for the “Good Ole Blue” featurette were adorable, though it did have a bit sadder of an ending than the kids might have liked. “Best Pet of All,” however, had a perfectly happy ending, and was enjoyable start to finish. They did a great job of capturing the look and feel of the book by David LaRochelle, right down to the quirky thought bubbles each character had, and the awesome sunglasses and hat that the dragon wore. The performances for this show are now over, but you can enjoy the book from the library!
