The tweens and teens in our group began the fall with a multiple day New Dimensions stop-motion animation workshop at Nelson-Atkins. They learned how to use stop-motion animation software, how to edit their shots, add music and dialogue, and create a finished video. This workshop was an excellent way for the kids to work together in teams, and to work on technical and video skills. Many thanks to Nelson-Atkins for making this workshop possible, and a huge “thank you” to the instructor, Brent. The kids had a great time, and are looking forward to future workshops at the museum!
Here are the videos that the kids created:
A-I-M
Gw and J
Magic Museum
RL Game
The Adventures of Grace & Sophie
The Epic Sage of Rock, Paper, and Scissors
The Hike
The Lego Adventure
