This week we watched a lovely performance of the children’s classic, Tuck Everlasting by Babbitt. This book is the story of the Winnie Foster and her chance meeting with the Tuck family. The Tucks drank water from a hidden spring, and are now immortal. Winnie’s developing friendship with the Tucks puts her and them in danger from an entrepreneur who would like to sell the water to other people. From these adventures, Winnie learns her true feelings about growing up, growing older, and building a life she enjoys.
