Come explore the Nelson-Atkins on a search for mythical creatures like dragons, griffins, mermaids and more! After the tour, the children will create and take home their own mythical creature using paper collage, oil pastels and watercolor.
All ages welcome, though this is geared towards kids ages 5 and up. Children under 5 needing parental assistance are welcome to enroll, but parents must stay with their child. The tour is roughly 30 minutes long, and the art workshop is approximately one hour. Parents are welcome on the tour and encouraged to enroll to make their own art!
Cost of the workshop is $7/student.
Minimum ticketed headcount: 15
Maximum ticketed headcount: 15 (the museum is only allowing 15 students this session)
