Lions and Tigers and…Oboes? Oh my! The Kansas City Symphony joins forces with the Kansas City Zoo for exciting Young People’s Concerts in October 2014. These performances will introduce students to the instruments of the orchestra as well as their favorite animals at the KC Zoo! A giant screen hung above the orchestra will showcase images and videos of these animals while being accompanied by the music of Rimsky-Korsakov, F.J. Haydn, Johannes Brahms and more. Seating is limited…don’t miss these exciting performances!
Tickets are $2/person and required for ALL attendees, including lap babies. This event is listed as for grades 4-6, but younger students are welcome.
Registration is due by August 15, 2014, and Paypal is due by August 22.
