Have you ever met a live owl? Do you know what makes owls the kings of the night? Come visit Ernie Miller Nature Center and learn more about these amazing creatures!
This is a hands-on nature program:
* Touch and examine the wings, feathers and talons of an owl.
* Observe the nests they make.
* Identify the owls by their calls.
* See an owl pellet.
* Learn how they live nocturnally.
* Discover the needs and life cycles of these unique animals.
Program is geared towards kids ages 5-12. Younger children are welcome to attend. Afterwards, explore inside the nature center, and enjoy a walk on the outside grounds. There are outdoor areas for picnics, if weather permits.
Cost is $3/child ages 5 and up. Parents and non-participating children under five are free. Initial registration and Paypal due by November 15.
Minimum headcount: 15 students
Maximum headcount: 30 students
