Fall Home School Day offers two sessions of two of our most popular school programs. Two sessions are offered: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Cost is $5/home school student and accompanying adults are free. New for Fall Home School Day, representatives from Kansas History Day will be presenting on how the homeschool community can participate in National History Day. Registration due to Mahaffie Stagecoach Thursday September 5, 2013

Growing Up Victorian activities may include:
Stagecoach Ride
19th Century Games
Chores
19th Century Laundry

Tragic Prelude activities may include:
Stagecoach Ride
Writing with a pen and ink
Marching and drilling
Helping fire a cannon
Learning about what soldiers would carry with them

Registration is due Thursday September 5, 2013 and payment is due the day of the program. If you prefer to not register online or have further questions, please call Liz Hobson at 913.971.5504.

The Day of the Program
After home school families are registered, they are free to arrive within the registered time to attend the hands on activities.
Please park in the parking lot of the Heritage Center to pay for your students, visit the exhibits and pick up a map of the activities.
Please allow 90 minutes for the activities.
