5/1/15 – This event is now full. Families are being added to a waitlist.

We will be taking a tour of the Anita B. Gorman Discovery Center and the Nelson-Atkins Museum Sculpture Garden as part of their Sculpture & Science in Summer program. Teen guides will lead us through learning activities in the habitats at the Discovery Center. We will picnic at the nature center, then drive around the corner to Nelson-Atkins to tour the sculpture garden. Families are welcome to continue exploring the museum after the sculpture garden.

This event is FREE, and has a maximum headcount of 45 total attendees. When registering, please note the total number of kids aged 5-14, adults aged 15+, and non-participating infants/toddlers under age 5. Children under 5 who are participating should be counted as kids instead of infants/toddlers.

Registration is due by June 15, or when we reach maximum headcount, whichever comes first.

WAITLIST

Parking at the Discovery Center is free. Covered parking at the museum is $8/vehicle (free for members). There is a small amount of free parking on Oak Street as well.
