Museums and Art Programs

Johnson County and the Kansas City metro have all kinds of wonderful museum tours, workshops and art programs for homeschoolers! Here are some:

Kemper Museum Homeschool Programs
Make the Kemper Museum a part of your homeschool routine. This FREE, drop-in event is open to the homeschool community. The themes of each program change from month to month and take place in the Museum’s galleries, and are designed to be an interactive experience that encourages students to examine objects and ideas through observation, discussion and activities. Art-making runs from 1pm-2pm, and the docent-led tour begins at 2pm. Programs are drop-in with no registration required.
