New this year at Wild West Days
Buffalo Bill will serve as the Master of Ceremonies for the weekend
Buffalo soldiers on horseback providing escorts for some stagecoach rides
New admission structure! Cost is $5/person ages 5 and up or a special family rate of five people for $20
Keep in mind the stagecoaches will be not be ‘robbed’ this year. Our outlaws may be in other areas on the grounds of Mahaffie such as the Children’s Area and other places. We plan on staging more elaborate stagecoach robberies with our performers for the visitors.
Winners of our weekly Cowboy Costume Contest will participate in the grand finale Saturday September 28. The finale will be judged by Buffalo Bill and the Lovely Laura Camp 1860s Cowboy Baseball at noon Saturday September 28. Enjoy a Quick Draw competition and weapons check before play begins. 1860s Baseball is a gentlemen’s game and no weapons are allowed on the field of play
