Unearth the treasure of our local history with the Johnson County Museum! Examine artifacts from our collection, explore the exhibit, and put your brains and hands to work with interactive projects, games, and activities in our museum classroom. These monthly sessions serve as an engaging supplement to your homeschool curriculum, and give students the opportunity to build both new friendships and a new appreciation for what came before us!
September 14 – Westward Ho!
October 5 – Pinafores to Poodle Skirts
November 2 – Meet the First Kansans
December 7 – Life on the Homefront (WWII)
Cost is $6/student ages 7-13; museum members receive a 20% discount. Call 913-831-3359 to register. Registration fee includes Kidscape & museum admission; non-participating children and adults will need to pay admission separately.
