The Mahaffie Homeschool Day has two sessions: 10am-12pm; 1pm-3pm. Cost is $5/student ages 5 and up; adults and children 4 and under get free admission and pay just $2/stagecoach ride. This is a self-paced tour of the Mahaffie Homestead.
1860s Spring farming activities may be offered such as planting, gardening, blacksmith and cookstove demonstrations.
Home School Families are invited to enjoy them on their own pace.
Registration required. If you pay when you register, your family is on the fast track to the activities on the historic Mahaffie grounds. Payment is available the day of your program.
Use code 11991 to register for the 10 a.m. session, use code 11992 for the 1 p.m. session
Registration is required, however, payment is due the day of the event
When you arrive for your program on Thursday April 28th, please park in the parking lot of the Heritage Center, pay your admission and pick up your map.
The Heritage Center has the Mahaffie Market, a gift shop with many family friendly items, be sure to visit at the end of your session
