2nd Tuesday each month Join us out on the farm every month for a fun time exploring nature and community!
Each time we gather, we will have discussion and Stone Soup in the barn, then get outside and create something together. We have designated an area of land to be the Kids Plot, for them to create, plant, build– whatever they want.
April– we’ll discuss Ecosystems and Biodiversity! Bring something to plant or decorate the kids garden if you wish!
BRING:
• an item to put in our collective pot of soup for lunch (vegetarian and organic, please- and local when possible!)
• a journal or notebook that can be designated for use in our club- for their notes, plans, sketches, questions, and dreams
• shoes/boots you don’t mind getting dirty
• weather appropriate layers
• if you wish, you can bring any other food items to go along with our soup (e.g., crackers, bread, fruit, nuts, etc)
• if your child has special dietary needs, feel free to bring a separate lunch for them
We welcome parents to stay and help out… or stay and relax in the barn… or drop-off/pick-up is fine, too.
This is a free event, open to all homeschool, unschooled, or other-schooled children!
(Love offering donations of any kind are always happily received to support The Light Center)
