On the 14th we had our yearly field trip to Legoland, and as before, we don’t have many pictures because we had so much fun all day! There were a few changes from last year – a table with small building plates where kids and adults created Lego art, a large building table of Star Wars forest pieces, and the wonderful addition of a quiet room for kids (and parents) who needed a few minutes to regroup.
We had fun as usual building and racing cars, building towers on the shaker tables, riding the rides, watching the movies, and playing in the Duplo section and the soft play area. Some of the kids also enjoyed a building class with one of the staff members. Whether your family wants to build, play or admire the work of the master builders in the Kansas City room, there is plenty to do at Legoland to keep the family occupied!
