Another session of homeschool tennis begins on Tuesday, March 21!
Here are the details on the upcoming session:
Genesis Health Clubs in Overland Park is offering tennis for homeschoolers on Tuesday afternoons from 2-3:30pm, March 21 through May 23. Students should be 6-18 years old. The class is for beginners through advanced players. Cost is $250 for the 10-week session. Membership is not required.
Our goal is to teach you a sport of a lifetime. It’s important to learn the proper fundamentals for each stroke so that you can build a foundation that will allow you to improve.
What will you learn?
1. The proper fundamentals for the forehand and back ground strokes, forehand and back ground volleys, overhead, and the serve.
2. Proper movement is critical to a tennis players development. Unfortunately, tennis is not played in a vacuum, so you need to learn how to effectively move on the tennis court.
3. How to have fun! Tennis can be a frustrating game, but our main goal, is to make you love the game!!
