Take a docent-led tour of modern, contemporary and African art in the Bloch building at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art!
Afterwards, feel free to explore the museum on your own or enjoy a self-guided tour through the free exhibition Echoes: Islamic Art and Contemporary Artists, or the outside sculpture garden, if the weather cooperates.
Museum visits are FREE to the public, but parking is $5 per vehicle for the underground garage (members park for free). Limited parking is available on the west side of Oak Street.
All ages welcome, though the tour is geared towards ages 6 and up. Families need to consider their children’s ability to follow museum rules about quiet voices, not touching the art and staying with the group when signing up.
Minimum: one family
Maximum: 60 attendees
We will meet at the main guest services desk before joining our guides for the tour.
The guided tour will be approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes long. The self-guided tours are at your own pace. Feel free to explore the museum on your own after our tour!
