At Monday’s meeting we celebrated all things March with creative Lego building. For our mini build, the kids were encouraged to create lions and lambs, and creations reflecting St. Patrick’s Day as well as National Cereal Day. Our theme build was all about spring and what the kids were looking forward to actually doing during spring, or would love to see or do during spring. Some imaginations went wonderfully wild! We then had an extended free build time, which was great – some of the kids worked collaboratively, while others made their own masterpieces.
Some of the creations!
A swimming pool and a flower garden
A leprechaun with a pot of gold
A tower with beds for a sleepover
Minecraft with a house, a garden and a portal room
A fire-breathing dragon named “King” and his flame shooting out of his mouth
Spring break and kids running out of a school
A house with a pond and a garden with a four-leaf clover
A house with a character and a gold sword
A house and a garden with sheep, flowers and trees
A rider with swords on a horse
A team built Minecraft land with trees, creepers, and all kinds of Minecraft landmarks
While we wait for winter to end, we hope that you are having fun building at home!
