Rapunzel by Paul Mesner Puppets

Last Thursday we attended an adorably quirky retelling of “Rapunzel” at the Paul Mesner Puppets Studio. This retelling included a moped riding witch, a prince who could not correctly pronounce his words, and a Rapunzel who was determined to find her prince, plus a clever caterpillar who opened the show and delighted the kids!

As with other performances by Paul Mesner Puppets, there were all kinds of side jokes and tongue in cheek comments by the characters, which made it as easy for the adults to laugh as for the kids. The kids were especially tickled by the hair dryer turned moped, and the curlers for handlebars!

We had a great time at this performance, and look forward to their retelling of “Three Bears” later this spring!
