On February 1 we attended the KC Symphony’s spring 2017 KinderKonzert performance on Symphonic Citizenship. This program used the orchestra to show the kids how they can be good citizens using traits such as sharing, working as a team and following directions. As always, the music was beautifully played by the orchestra, engaging and full of kid-friendly pieces. The new assistant conductor had a good rapport with the audience as well as the orchestra. The organ player did a magnificent job. All in all, the kids had a great time! We really enjoyed the performance, and look forward to attending future events!
