On April 26th we attended the live performance of “The Velveteen Rabbit” at Theatre for Young America in Union Station. This adaptation takes the beloved classic into the library for a feature on rabbits, and includes a magician who helps to bring the book to life. All the important characters were present – the little boy who makes the rabbit real, the skin horse, and the nursery magic fairy. As usual, the performances were well done, and the children really enjoyed themselves. Many thanks to TYA for another great performance!
