We had beautiful weather for our fall field trip to Johnson Farms!
At the start of the tour, the guide talked to us about the different vegetables and squash grown at the farm and which parts of the pumpkin can we eat? After we took a ride in the ‘wagon bus,’ a guide introduced us to all of the farm animals, including tiny days-old piglets and a cow who wanted to lick everyone. We kept a lookout to spot the farm kittens.
Then we free-played on their jumping pillows, towering play structure, slides, bus filled with corn and wooden maze structures to our hearts content. We munched on lunch, and maybe some cider slushes and pumpkin donuts, and continued play.
On the way out, we grabbed a pumpkin, and were tired from a great day of play and learning.
