This week we braved the cold and ventured out to Ernie Miller Nature Center for a class called Animal Scene Investigations. Once we arrived, the kids were divided into four groups. The kids went around the room and used their detective skills while they viewed clues like claws, skulls, fragments of shells and so on to determine what happened to each animal. Afterwards, the ranger led a discussion on their findings. While there were no definite conclusions, they had a great time and learned a lot about the various animals.
Thank you to Ernie Miller Nature Center for another great field trip!
